This universal symbol of love demonstrates the meaning of the swans beauty, love, trust, loyalty and devotion.

Our story begins in the Spring of 2008 when we first met at Walmart while attending college in Raleigh, North Carolina. My initial reaction about Ramon was that he's a man of few words, more on the anti-social side, which is the opposite of me because I'm bubbly and outgoing. Nevertheless, our friendship started to develop as we spent more time with our mutual friend, who is also from Barbados. We spent a lot of time together and connected in many different ways, but mainly through our love for Track & Field.

Despite what our peers had been telling us for some time, we maintained a friendship. As time passed, we got to know each other's personality, characteristics, and life goals, while we stayed up late at night watching the George Lopez show. Something was happening, and we could no longer deny the undeniable attraction we felt for each other. Our friendship was becoming more, our feelings were developing for one another, and with nothing to lose but a lot to gain, we took the leap of faith and decided to give ourselves a chance and go on a first date. This was the beginning of a special union and forever love. Through the years, we've traveled the world, won medals, and built our lives together to achieve our goals.

Fast forward to the summer of July 22nd, 2023, when we celebrated the biggest milestone of our lives. This is the date when our baby's gender was revealed. The excitement of becoming parents was palpable, and we were overjoyed. Out of all our accomplishments, this was the greatest joy and fulfillment in our lives, and we both knew that we could not have chosen a better partner to embark on this journey with. The evening was full of surprises, from learning we are expecting a baby boy to Ramon dropping on one knee to propose. One of the fondest memories we have of each other is having a conversation about one day wanting to eventually get married and have a family of our own. Finally, we’re on the path to bringing that conversation into fruition.

We believe that there's no better way to spend the rest of your life than to be with your forever person. Just like the black swans, our story demonstrates that our love for each other is strong, and as it continues to grow, we are maturing and enjoying the journey of becoming one.
